Abstract

503,958. Boxes. HUTTON & CO. (WINDERMERE), Ltd., L., and WHITTLE, A. F. Sept. 8, 1938, No. 25165/37. [Class 18] The drawer 2 of a drawer-and-shell box is covered in by a hinged lid 3 in which hinged flaps 6 are formed, these flaps being connected by an elastic cord 7 so that, as the drawer is pushed out of the shell at one end, the flap at that end is pulled open. The free edge of the lid 3 is provided with a tuck-in flap 4 and the lid rests on ledges inturned from the ends of the drawer. In the first instance, the inner surface of the. lid is lined with transparent material.
