Abstract
490,023. Eye-baths. ALLEN, S. B. Feb. 6, 1937, No. 3626. [Class 81 (ii)] An eye - bath constructed wholly of rubber or similar flexible material comprises an upper part 1 joined by a narrow waist 3 to a lower bulbous part 4, the outer side 7 of the part 1 being higher than the inner side 8 and a vent hole 6 being provided near the top of the side 7. The capacity of the part 4 should be such that when fully squeezed; the liquid therefrom rises almost to the level of the top 8 of the bath, but not to the level of the vent hole 6. According to the Provisional Specification, the part 1 may be moulded in synthetic resin or glass, and the part 4 may take the form of an accordion-pleated chamber.
