489,921. Electric kettles. FRENCH & SON, Ltd., W. T., and FRENCH, A. W. March 18, 1938, No. 8323. [Class 39 (iii)] The heating element of an electric kettle, and consisting of a mica strip around which is wound resistance wire enclosed between mica strips, is secured in an annular channel 4, in the bottom of the kettle by spinning so as to close the walls of the channel on to the element.
