473,925. Taps or cocks. LEHMAN, C. E. Sept. 22, 1936, No. 25717. [Class 135] A rubber buffer and stream-control attachment for a tap comprises tubular and skirt portions 12, 14 with an inverted conical flange 15 for securing it to the bib 11 and a second inverted conical flange 21 below the nozzle. A further flange 17, perforated to allow the water pressure to act rearwardly on the flange 15, may also fit over the bib. A filter disc 23 may be inserted through the flange 21 by stretching the latter. A perforated strainer disc 25 is supported across the mouth of the skirt between a tip 24 and nibs 26, and has a central aperture 27 controlled by a sliding disc valve 28 moved by a handle 30 attached to the pivot 29.
