Abstract

467,606. Cartons &c. ROBINSON & SONS, Ltd., and HUBBUCK, J. D. Dec. 16, 1935, No. 34792. [Class 18] A packet carton or like container of stiff paper, cardboard, thin sheet metal &c. for capsules, tablets, pills, pellets &c., is formed from the blank shown in Fig. 1, which is folded as in Fig. 2, tongue 16 taking into slot 17 and tongue 19 into slot 18. The articles contained may be extruded through apertures 4 by flexing the bottom 1. In a modification two or more spaced tongues may be provided at edge 15, which engage with suitable slots. Flaps 9, 10 may be replaced by a separate flat sheath. A pad of soft cellulose cotton wool &c. may be placed beneath the articles, another pad, constituted e.g. by a leaflet, may be placed over the apertures 4.
