[Class 35] The internal air is circulated by fans j, k on the rotor shaft through ducts o in the stator core and through other ducts r through or at the back of the stator, with no circulation through the rotor, and external air is circulated by a fan a through end passages b, g and through ducts e at the back of or through the stator and preferably alternating with the internal-air ducts e. The circulations are preferably in counter flow.
