Abstract
450,074. Thermionic valves. LORENZ AKT.-GES., C., 1, Lorenzweg, Tempelhof, Berlin. Jan. 3, 1936, No. 302. Convention date, Jan. 10, 1935. [Class 39 (i)] In an electron tube, particularly for use with ultra-short wires, one or more high-frequency chokes act as resilient supports for the electrode structure. In the form shown, two resilient chokes 1, 2 are secured at one end to the pinch 4 and at the other end to the ends of the cathode 5. Extensions 6, 7 of the cathode carry at their ends insulators 8, 9 which support cylindrical extensions 10, 11 of the grid and anode respectively, forming a system excited by Barkhausen-Kurz oscillations. Condensers for correctly terminating the system 10, 11 may be mounted on the insulators 8, 9. The chokes may be inserted in circuits other than the cathode heating circuit.
