G., 46, Cannon Street, London. Oct. 17, 1934, No. 29678. [Class 20 (iii)] A metal door for partitions comprises a single front plate 1 and one or more dished or flanged back plates 2 attached thereto, a window opening surrounded by invertedchannel frame supports 11 being formed in the plates. A window frame of sheet - metal members having inner and outer beads 13, 14, is removably and reversibly inserted in the opening and secured by screws to the frame supports. The window frame may comprise two angles 25, 26, Fig. 8, one having an integral and an attached glazing bead 27, 28. At the top and hinged and striking edges, the front plate is folded over the bent flanges 4 of the rear plates. The posts and lintel consist of channel members, and the posts 7 are secured by clamps or the like to stanchions 17 extending between the floor and ceiling. The hinge straps may be secured to inset channels 21 in the posts.
