446,944. Fingerstalls. SANDER'S CHEMICAL PRODUCTS, Ltd., 43, Regent Street, Loughborough, Leicestershire.-(Sander, E.; 2, Schackstrasse, Munich. Germany) Aug. 21, 1935, No. 23482. [Class 141] [See also Group VI] Protectors for injured fmgers are made from a moderately stiff polymerisate of acrylic acid, or vinyl alcohol, or an ester thereof, and comprise a tubular part a, which is placed on the finger and secured by adhesive tape c, and a bulbous part b attachable to a as by the provision of moulded screw threads on the parts. The part b may contain a viscous or liquid medicament. For example a 20 per cent solution of polymerized acrylic acid ethyl ester, which may contain ¢-1 per cent of a softener such as di-butyl phthalate, is coated by dipping on a former and stripped off when dry. A strip i of a similar polymerisate containing about 5 per cent of softener and combined with a strip of gauze, may be coated with adhesive and secured to the stall for use in attaching it to the finger.
