Abstract

446,128. Seats. BRYAN, W., Chesterfield, College Road, Upper Norwood, London. Feb. 20, 1935, No. 5491. [Class 52 (ii)] In a folding chair of the type in which the side frames fold together, the back rest 2 of flexible material is made in the form of a pocket. Preferably a sheet of fabric is folded longitudinally with one edge 4 slightly above the other edge 3, and secured to the uprights 1<1> of the frame. Alternatively the front and rear parts of the back-rest may be secured to the front and rear respectively of the uprights as shown in Fig. 2.
