Abstract

418,575. Hair-waving appliances. GRONBLAD, K. N. E., 32, Linnegatan, Gothenburg, Sweden. July 13, 1934, No. 20567. [Class 131.] A heat insulating device adapted to be placed between a hair-waving apparatus and the head comprises a hollow elongated cushion or pad 11 to the interior of which cooling air is supplied, the air being discharged through openings 15 provided on the side of the pad adapted to contact with the head. The walls of the pad are connected together along the longitudinal centre portion 12 which is provided with a longitudinal slot 13 for the passage of the hair. The under surface of the pad is provided with criss-cross air distribution grooves or channels 16.
