Abstract

402,034. Brake transmitting-mechanism. VELITCHKO, B., 38, Rue des Perchamps, Paris. Feb. 15, 1932, No. 4443. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect 91 of the Acts, Feb. 17, 1932]. [Class 103 (i).] A brake-operating device includes a member 7 interposed between a pedal 1 and a rocking- lever 10 controlling the brakes, said member 7 being articulated on the rocking lever and being provided with a roller 6 adapted to travel on a path or cam 5 when the pedal is actuated. The path may be such that full travel of the roller thereon is obtained during two-thirds of the full movement of the brake pedal and if desired the roller may be arrested at an intermediate point or points. A spring 8 connects the member 7 to the vehicle frame and the cam 5 may be separate from the pedal.
