408,778. Reciprocating pumps. CLARKE, J. H., 104, Victoria Street, London. Feb. 3, 1933, No. 3363. [Class 102 (i).] A pump having no clearance between the plunger and cylinder end comprises an inlet port 32 at one end of the cylinder, a discharge valve 24 constituting the other end of the cylinder and an automatically acting transfer valve 21 mounted in the piston.
