383,396. Screwdrivers. BROWN, R. W., 4, Rosslyn Crescent, East Lane, North Wembley, SMITH, A. G. H., Highlands, Kewferry Hill, Northwood, both in Middlesex, and CLAISSE, A. J., 54, Eton Avenue, Hampstead, London. Oct. 31, 1931, No. 30209. [Class 61 (iii).] A screwdriver of the type adapted to hold a screw at its operative end prior to screwing has a wedge-shaped divided blade, the portions 2, 3 of which are set out of alignment, Fig. 3, so that they grip the side walls of the slot in a screw-head when pushed therein. A modification in the operative end of the blade is shown in Fig. 4.
