Abstract
380,942. Delivery devices for grinding-mills. CHAUFFE ET COMBUSTION SOC. ANON., 4, Rue de l' Autonomie, Brussels. Sept. 23, 1931, No. 26561. Convention date, Sept. 23, 1930. [Class 59.] In a mill comprising a surface 3 of a grinding cone 2 or similar body which gyrates on a surface 1, the ground material is withdrawn through a suction orifice 9 covered by a rotary disc 10 provided with an opening 11 located beneath the contacting surfaces, the disc rotating at the same speed as the cone. The cone 2 is mounted on a pivot 4 supported in roller bearings 6 adapted to rock in a closed chamber provided on the outside with a spherical surface which forms a ball joint 7 with the cone 2. The disc 10 is provided with a crown wheel 13 driven by bevel wheels 14, 17 and may rotate under a partitioned orifice.
