Abstract

377,076. Locking nuts. KENNEDY, W. M. and STRANGE, H. E., Tanby, Queensland, Australia. Dec. 8, 1931, No. 34005. [Class 89 (i).] The nut 3 is locked to the bolt 1 by a keeper 7 which enters corresponding longitudinal grooves in each, the number of grooves on the nut being one more or one less than that on the bolt. The keeper is secured by bending its end into a recess 6 which forms the termination of a groove 5.
