Abstract
369,823. Teapots. GELL, J., 123. Upper Tollington Park, Stroud Green, London. June 30,1931, No. 18874. [Class 129.] A pot has a tea leaf container C with projections F and recesses D ; the container normally rests on projections B so that the leaves are out of contact with the hot water. On placing the lid on the pot and turning it, projections J on the lid turn the container so that the recesses D are placed opposite the projections B and the container can drop to its lower position, as shown in Fig. 1, in which the leaves are in contact with the water. The lid follows the container and this can be lifted by engaging the projections J under lugs F.
