Abstract
368,347. Oil engines. LISTER & CO., Ltd., R. A. and SANDERS, A. F., Victoria Iron Works, Long Street, Dursley, Gloucestershire. Dec. 4, 1930, No. 36585. [Class 7 (iii).] In a compressionignition engine having two intercommunicating and substantially spherical combustion chambers 3, 4, a fuel injector 9 is located in the chamber 3 which is in communication with the cylinder, whilst an igniter 10 for use when starting projects into the outer chamber 4. The passage 8 communicating with the cylinder has a diameter not exceeding half that of the chamber 3 and it enters the latter tangentially. Specifications 322,097, [Class 7 (iii), Internal-combustion engines, Carburetting-apparatus &c. for], and 368,346 are referred to.
