Abstract
367,078. Covers for holding or filing newspapers, catalogues, &c. MODERN OFFICE EQUIPMENT CO., Ltd. and THOMSON, J., 121, Wellington Street, Glasgow. Dec. 6, 1930, No. 36844. [Class 146 (i).] Covers 10, 11 for holding or filing newspapers, magazines, catalogues, or the like 17 are provided with rigid filing-posts 12, Fig. 1, to which the newspapers are attached by members 15 having spaced loops or hooks adapted to be passed through slits 18 in the folds of the newspapers and engaged with the posts. The members 15 may be formed from wire with loops 16 or hooks bent integrally therewith or may consist of flat strips with projecting lugs perforated to engage the posts. The posts 12 may be secured by screws 46, Fig. 4, to a flanged backing strip 43 fixed to covers 40. A reinforcing strip 19 of fabric or strong paper may be attached by adhesive to the fold of each newspaper.
