Abstract
367,069. Boxes &c. for electric lamps &c. EDISON SWAN ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., 123, Queen Victoria Street, London, and BIRD, C. H., 31, Elmore Road, Enfield Highway, Middlesex. Dec. 2, 1930, No. 36328. [Class 18.] A carton or box for electric lamps, eggs, &c. is fitted with a holder made from a rectangular sheet 1 of stiff paper &c. folded along the middle and slit at 2, 3 to form one or more straps 4 which may be of varying length for holding the article and at 3 to form stops 5 which may also be of varying length for preventing endwise movement. The edges of the channel may be provided with projections for spacing it from the carton or box or may be bent downwardly to form a holder of M-section. In a modified form a single sheet may be folded at 12, Fig. 5, and secured at 11 to form two channels 13, stops 5 being provided as before. This holder may also be made from two sheets secured at 11, 12. The straps or stops may be made separately and secured by adhesive &c.
