Abstract

356,224. Automatic guns. AUTOMATIC GUNS, Inc., 924, 17th Street, Washington, U.S.A. Feb. 28, 1930, No. 14812/31. Convention date, Feb. 28, 1929. Divided on 356,230. [Class 92 (ii).] A muzzle attachment for diminishing recoil comprises a perforated tube 2 forming a continuation of the bore of the gun barrel but spaced therefrom to form an expansion chamber 4, baffles 6, perferably of spiral form, being carried by the tube and spaced from the external casing 1 to form an annular chamber in direct communication with the space 4. The tube is supported in the casing by perforated discs 7, 9.
