Infusing-machines.-A coffee-making apparatus comprises a boiler 13, a beverage-container A and a ground coffee-container F. The tube S connecting the boiler with the coffee-container has holes t above the water level to enable steam to pass up the tube and steam the coffee before the pressure forces the water up to be sprayed over the coffee from holes t<1>. The coffee is held between the perforated plate T and the bottom of the container. The beverage drops through the holes into the container A. This has a double bottom I, f<1> to provide a space with openings D to prevent the boiler from causing the beverage to boil.
