Abstract

334,472. Robertshaw & Sons, Ltd., J., and Robertshaw, W. L. Dec. 21, 1929. Folding tables.-A dinner or tea wagon comprises a folding underframe supporting an under tray adapted to turn upwards and a top tray adapted to turn downwards. Fig. 3 shows a dinner wagon with two back legs 7 to which are pivoted cross-pieces 11, 12 carrying the front legs 10. The legs 7 are connected by cross-bars 8, 9 to which are pivoted the trays 16, 13 respectively. The tray 13 has hook-like stops 14 which engage with slots in arms 15 on the cross-bars 12. The top tray 16 is pivoted on projecting arms 17 to enable it to turn down over the leg frames. Projections 18, 19 on the tray 16 and bars 11 respectively engage and hold the leg frames rigid. The tray 16 has a ledge or beading 20 which is lower at the front than at the back.
