Abstract

326,316. Avery, Ltd., W. & T., and Timson, W. Feb. 18, 1929. Dashpots.-A dashpot applicable particularly to weighing-machines is provided with a piston having apertures 7<a> and upper and lower annular closure discs 5, 8 which are forced away from the piston by light springs 6, 9. Each disc is forced against an adjustable abutment consisting in one case of a nut 10 and in the other of a tube 4 which may be screwed up or down the piston-rod. Specification 24392/10 is referred to.
