Abstract

Handles ; feet.-To attach a plated handle to a plated metal vessel, pieces of easily fusible metal are placed in threaded openings 3, 4, in the handle ends which are then heated to melt the metal, and the barbed projections 1, 2, attached to the vessel are inserted into the openings and the parts are allowed to cool. The method can be used for the attachment of other projecting parts such as supporting feet.
