Abstract

305,778. Woods, M. Dec. 30, 1927. Seats.-The legs 4 on which are mounted bus or like seats of the kind having metal pressings &c. 1 for supporting the seats and seat backs are adjustable in position as the end members 1 are connected by two or more channel shaped members 2 having flanges 2a formed with bolt holes 3. The tops of the legs carry plates 5 with upturned flanges which not only serve to secure the plate to the cross pieces 2 but also as shown in Fig. 6, engage the channelled portions of these cross pieces.
