Abstract
291,997. Pickford, E. W. Sept. 7, 1927. Terrazzo and like flooring.-The floor panels are separated by pairs of metal strips D which form air spaces d<1> to premit expansion and contraction and the drying of the concrete foundation B. The strips are flanged at the lower edge, and the pairs may be formed by doubling a plate and grinding away the bend d when smoothing and polishing the floor. The strips are secured at the corners of the panel by ribbed blocks E, and at intervals by patches of cement e.
