Abstract

291,160. Culver, S. Feb. 28, 1927. Spectacles; eyeglasses.-A separate frame is provided with placquets 40 each of which is hollow and mounted on a ball-head 6 to give universal movement. The head 6 is formed at one end of a pin 5, the other end of which is secured to the bridge 3 or other part of the spectacle frame. The placquets 4 are formed in two parts 7, 8 spun together and have their surfaces roughened or ridged. In one arrangement the placquets are mounted singly on pivoted finger-grips and in another arrangement two placquets are mounted on each grip.
