297,444. Markstein, R. P., and Kutter, L. Sept. 23, 1927, [Convention date]. Direct air - pressure apparatus, non - automatic. - An atomizer comprises a. flat casing 1, Fig. 1, divided into two compartments in the lower of which is mounted a rubber bulb 16 having a press button 19 bearing thereon projecting through an opening in the casing. Air from the bulb passes through a tube 20 into the upper compartment which is provided with a rising pipe 10 through which liquid is expelled, projecting at its upper end into an enlargement 9 of an atomizing nozzle 14, Fig. 2. The pipe 10 passes at its upper end through a partition 5 separating a chamber 6 from the upper compartment of the casing 1. The nozzle may be closed by a screw cap 12, Fig. 2, seated on a lever 13 by which it may be lifted to open the nozzle.
