Abstract

264,682. British Dyestuffs Corporation, Ltd., Cronshaw, C. J. T., and Naunton, W. J. S. March 1, 1926. Thioureas. -Mono. or di-o-carbalkoxydiarylthioureas, such as di-o-carbethoxydiphenylthiourea, are made by the action of thiophosgene on alkylanthranilates, to produce accelerators of vulcanization. The compounds may be heated at a degree comparable to that of vulcanization prior to incorporation in the rubber.
