Abstract

Pneumatic, hydraulic, and like springs; non- metallic springs.-A pneumatic spring comprises a flexible container divided into sections by one or more rigid flat rings D, Fig. 1. In a modification, five such rings are employed. A number of such springs may be interconnected with or without an intermediate reservoir. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also several different forms of container, which may also be elastic, disposed between relatively movable parts and connected to an auxiliary reservoir or to other similar containers. Fig. 9 (Cancelled) shows two containers C each arranged between upper and lower movable parts A, B and connected by pipes G to a reservoir H containing elastic or other fluid under pressure. Containers of various shapes are shown. Fig. 10 (Cancelled) shows a vehicle suspension system which includes four containers connected to one another by pipes G, L. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
