Abstract

A conventional dustbin having a built-in paper shredder. The shredder can be powered by mains or re-chargeable batteries. The unit combines the function of both, making it convenient and easy to dispose of household rubbish and sensitive paperwork. The unit will dispose of household waste and paper into the same bag or into separate bags (fig. 2).

<p>Description</p>
<p>Basically it is a conventional dustbin with a shredder built in, so you can dispose of household rubbish and all paperwork such as letters with your name & address on in a safe manner as to avoid identity fraud.</p>
<p>The shredder will sit in the top of the bin adjacent to the flap for household rubbish.</p>
<p>There will be 2 derivatives where paper will fall into the waste area with household rubbish & a derivative where the paper with have it's own waste area separate from the household rubbish.</p>
<p>(So paper can be easily recycled) There will be the option where the shredder can be run from rechargeable batteries or from the mains.</p>

  1. <p>Claims A unit that combines the function of a conventional dustbin and
    a paper shredder together.</p>
    <p>The paper shredder is powered by re-chargeable batteries.</p>
