Abstract
Each operator has an identification which activates optics and pumps and activates the transaction on a till. Each transaction is automatically registered and priced on the till.
Description
I
Safe Serve Reason for invention We as a Public House Commission a stock take every four weeks. On many occasions stock is down by several hundreds of pounds due to staff theft - i.e. consuming stock - entering 1.00 instead of 2 00 thereby keeping the surplus 1.00 etc Generally working the till to their own advantage Unfortunately - by the time the theft is discovered four weeks later, the operator has left. We have no recourse. The law states that the employee is entitled to holiday pay + week-in-hand pay & that the employer must take the employee to court to prove theft. Most employers do not action this as it is time consuming + difficult to prove.
Invention For large establishments each operator has own till with ID. to activate optics + pumps. Bottles would be scanned through till having been previously counted. When dispensing from optic to pump the ID. activates transaction on till. The completed procedure notifies operator of amount charged to customer. Also providing customer with receipt.
For small establishments one till would suffice Result No drinks can be dispensed without operator I.D. and each drink is automatically registered + priced on till Thereby eliminating stock theft When each till is inspected at the end of the evening money + till roll will correspond The till would not only eliminate stock theft. But would audit stock at the same time Thereby saving money by not employing a stock taker.
Specifications
Sensors on optics + pumps to till metered More specifications would be available once a marketing company accepts safe serve
