Abstract
A wind turbine 1 is shaped to resemble a chimney pot, spins on a vertical axis and is connected to an electricity generator or alternator and mounted on a base unit (fig 2, ) that has attachment means to attach the base unit to a surface. The turbine 1 can comprise curved blades arranged around a vertical cylinder 2 with a downward sloping cone 3 at the bottom. The base unit (fig 2) can have ventilation holes 6 and fly screens 7 to ventilate the flue. The turbine can be mounted on a chimney/flue stack (fig 7) on a domestic residence.
