Abstract

A double blade razor comprises a handle 10 with a pair of connecting portions 9, B to selectively connect one or two blades or blade sets B1, B20 thereto. It can be used as a regular single razor or a multi blade set razor by connecting the second blade set B20 to the handle. The dual blade arrangement is particularly useful for shaving the scalp. The handle preferably has a curved non-slip design which allows for more control when shaving. The blade sets B1, B20 are preferably able to move in a pivoting motion when assembled, this feature allowing the blades to curve to the contour of the skin. Each blade set preferably comprises a standard razor blade set, typically including three or four blades A1 which are exposed between guards. Each blade is rigidly fixed relative to one another and is exposed close to the skin-engaging contact during shaving.

Description

DESCRIPTION
A double blade set multi purpose razor shaver system that is design to provide a close and comfortable shave. This device can be used as a single regular razor shaver and a multi blade set razor shaver. The blade sets (A) are able to move in a pivoting motion when assembled, this feature also allows the blades to curve to the contour of the skin. A Standard razor blade set (A) typically includes three or four blades (Al) which are exposed between guards (A3). Each blade (Al) is rigidly fixed relative to one another and is exposed close to the skin-engaging contact during shaving. (Al) The length of each Blade Is approxImately 3.7cm, width approximately 0.1 cm. The blades (Al) are also durable and can be used several times before their edges are worn and need replacing. A blades set comprised of a light, plastic housing (A) comprising a plastic cover, a guard plate (A3), a steel blade (Al) between guard plate, a guard edge juxtaposed between the blade edges and joined to said the guard housing. The blade housing or casing is made of one single unit that is strength by straps (A5) on either side of the casing. The housing (A) has plastic ridge that hold the blade (Al) relative to each other and also provide flexing when pressure is applied during shaving. The blade set has two holes (11) in either ends of the blade set that accommodate the blade holder. The metal straps (A5) that is rap around the end of the blade set provides strength for the housing (A) and keep the blades (Al) fix In their position. Directly beneath is the lubricating or rubber strip (A7) that is directly fixed on the front plain surface of the blade set. The strip (A5) is a stretchable elongated rubber member that has lines running the length of the rubber surface and stretch across the length of the plain surface area. The devices have a multi purpose design that can accommodate and operates two blades sets at once. The first features accommodate a single blade set that attaches directly on the upper main frame or handle (H) and is more suitable for facial shaving. The second connecting feature is a hollow tube like extension of the handle underneath (B) connecting a second blade set (A) approximately 0.6 to 1cm parallel to the first. This feature allows the use of both blades sets simultaneously at once: for a more efficiently and better result when shaving the head. Connecting the second blade feature is very easy and only takes a few second to do so. This specially designed tube like feature (B) extends approximately 3cm long, 0.6cm in width. The blades (A) are disposable and are design with raised portion on either side of the blade holder (B20) that is connected directly to the blade set. These raised portions (B1) are approximately 0.2 to 0.4cm in length, 0.1cm in width and 0.1cm in high. This feature allows the user to easily disconnect the blades set by gentle pressing on the raised portion on either side of the blade holder to release it. The blade set holder (Bl) also has two small raised portion (9) on their surface approximately 1cm form the joint tip or end of the handle and 1cm on the blade holder that helps to secure the two connecting joints firmly In place. At the joint of the handle approximately 1cm In has a slight groove (B2) that accommodate the raised surface on either side of the blade holder (Bi). The connecting portions that join the handle to the blade holder are slightly squared (C) on either side giving more support and strength to the connecting joints. The blade holder (61) Is made from the same plastic material as the blade casing and is hollow, light but strong and Is approximately 1 to 3cm long from the base of the blade housing. The blade holder (61) are design to be inserted approximately 1cm to 2cm directly in to the connecting hollow design end of the upper handle. The second blade holder (B1) is also design to be inserted in to the hollow opening of the tube like feature (B) underneath the handle that is design to accommodate this feature. The thumb (T) rest is situated approximately 4cm to 6cm on top of the handle to wards the blade portion. This enables the user to apply pressure when necessary while shaving. The thumb rest (T) is approximately 1cm to 2cm long, 0.6cm in width, and 0.4cm to 1cm hIgh and is position directly in the middle on top. This feature is epically suite for this design as it also allows for more control and maneuverability when shaving. The curved like design of the handle (H) is also suited to this device as it allows for a firmer grip and lessens the chance for slipping. The surfaces of the handle have a rough design in grooved pattern (G) that accommodate strips patterns that extend Just bellow the thumb rest (T). This feature also increases the grip on the handle (H) and allows for a better result when shaving.
The second feature is design to aids the shaving process up to 50% more efficient when shaving the head. Saving time Is very important and unlike like other comely used razor blade with their inward curveting blades at the back, the blades are curved out wards in order to allowed oil, dead cells and other debris to pass through more easily, hence a better result from the razors when shaving. The devices with its longer reaching handle and purposely curved design allows the user easy access to those hard to reach places at the back of the head when shaving. The handle is approximately 10cm to 15cm long, 0.6cm in width and 0.6cm in high. The logo, Knight's Blade Multi + (N) words are slightly raised in the middle of the handle (H) and is color In burgundy red (K) and is surrounded by a black paint color (10). The slight raised of the logo is approximately 3mm to 5mm in high. The paint colors black and burgundy red is standard paints color that is design to bines well and is commonly used In the paint and manufacture Industry. The device (H), wherein comprised a 1mm raised circle (12) at the end of the handle portion that contains the products name. The circle (12) extending to at least 3.5 to 4cm long and have a width of at lease 0.6cm. The coloring (K) (10) is part of the style that gives the product its unique looks and features. This new and exciting device will lesson the time it take to shave in a more cost effective and efficient way. The devices also have the unique capacity of disposing of each blades set as frequently as you like.
