Abstract

A connector for the joining of a downpipe or downpipe elbow to spouting. The connector has an annular body (11) and a tubular body (16). In use the annular body (11) is engageable through an opening in the floor of a length of spouting so that a flange (12) of body (11) locates against the floor. A mechanical fastening arrangement (15/20 or 22/24) is associated with both the annular body (11) and tubular body (16) whereby they can be fastened together such that the tubular body (16) projects from an external surface of the spouting and is connectable with a downpipe/elbow.
