Abstract

A cot includes a base (5), a pair of side walls (3,4) and a pair of end walls (1, 2) extending above the base. A transverse wall (7) is detachably secured across the cot above the base (5) between the side walls (3, 4) at a position partway along the length of the cot and serves to reduce the effective length of the cot.
