Abstract

236,818. Wright, F. H. Dec. 15, 1924. Driving-mechanism.-Means for driving the dashers and container of an ice cream freezer from the revolving and rotating beater shaft of a cake mixer comprises a crank arm 4 on the dasher shaft 1 provided with a roller 5 engaged by the beater shaft 7; the dashers and container 11 are rotated in opposite directions by means of bevel gears 14, 15 engaging a pinion 16 on a stationary shaft 17 which replaces the usual driving-shaft of the freezer. The gearing is mounted on a cross-bar 28.
