Abstract

The coloured cap is a thin plastic or nylon cover which is used for the purpose of changing the colour of the existing plug, socket or switch to suit the decor of the room, without the help of a qualified electrician.

COLOURED CAF This invention relates to a coloured cap.

Although there are coloured plugs, sockets and switches already manufactured and available on the market, to change the colour of the plug, socket or switch you need the help of an electrician.

The coloured cap is a thin plastic or nylon cover which does not need to be fitted by an electrician.

According to the present invention the colour of the plug, socket or switch can be changed as often as the user requires it to be. This is possible because the coloured cap fits over the original plug, socket or switch by means of the existing screws and the clip which is part of the invention.

A specific embodimet of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which : Figure 1 shows a standard switch socket either mounted or flush. The body 1 the sides 2, the on/off switch 3, the plug inlet 4 and the screws 5.

Claims (2)

1 A coloured cap is made of thin plastic or nylon in different colours.

Which fits over existing plug, socket and switches and domestic fittings, to change the colour of existing plug, socket and switch to match the decor of the room.
