229,178. Wreesmann, F. July 1, 1924. Rotary apparatus. - In apparatus of the kind in which liquid is fed centrally into the space between two rapidly-rotating ribbed discs or plates a, b and is flung outwards by centrifugal force and discharged through passages between the rims of the discs, the discs have ribs b<1> extending inwardly from the periphery to a region some distance from the centre, the central space between the inner ends of the discs being clear. The ribs may be straight, curved, toothed, zig-zag, or hooked. Specification 24651/13 is referred to.
