Abstract
By attaching the frame, from which a decorative article such as a mobile is suspended, to a bouncing chair it is the natural movement of the baby that moves the mobile - there is no need for air movement, manual help or the use of a motor. The mobile is controlled totally by the baby. Further stimulation of the baby can be achieved by changing the mobile. The decorative article may be constructed of a material capable of producing noise. <IMAGE>
Description
An attachable frame for suspension of a decorative article
This invention relates to a frame for suspension of a decorative article for attachment to a baby bouncing cradle or similar.
At an early stage of its development a baby can be stimulated by a mobile decorative article being suspended within visual range. 'A mobile' represents one of the few relevant 'toys' available to a very young baby given that a baby cannot play independently with other 'toys' until it is 4 months old, the age when eye/hand coordination begins to develop.
The mobility of the decorative article normally depends on natural air movement, manual help or the use of a motor.
According to the present invention there is provided a frame which at the base has plastic clips to attach to a bouncing cradle or similar. From the frame is suspended a decorative article (mobile).
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing which:
Figure 1 shows in perspective the frame (1) the attaching clips (2) and decorative article (3)
Figure 2 shows the attachment of the frame to a bouncing cradle in its implementation.
Referring to the drawing the frame comprises a strip or rod formed into a shape approximating a hoop.
At both ends of the frame are attached clips which enable the frame to be attached to a bouncing cradle or similar.
From the top of the frame is suspended a decorative article.
