Abstract
203,062. Thompson, W. P., (Bong, E.). June 6, 1922. Foundry ladles.-A refractory mass for use in lining ladles &c. consists of quartz rock in lumps and a binding-agent such as triturated fire-clay. The size of the lumps may be from 5 to 15 m.m. The mass is stamped in position in the usual way, and to prevent interfusion between the lining and the brickwork a layer of graphite is preferably interposed.
