Abstract

A toy has a decorative portion 21 which is suspended beneath a motor unit 11 by which it is rotated. The motor unit may also operate a musical box mechanism. The motor unit is supported by an arm 5 which extends upwardly from a base 1 and is shaped so as not to interfere with the rotation of the decoration. The base 1 includes a vice- like clamp 3 for securing the toy to a projecting element 4a which may be provided by a stand 4 or by a piece of furniture. The motor unit may rotate the portion 21 via a slip clutch. <IMAGE>
