Abstract

An illuminated indicator gauge comprising a light-transmitting dial plate (10) having measurement indicia to be illuminated by beams of light emitted from a first light source (50), a light-transmitting pointer (42) rotatable over the dial plate and formed with a light diffusing surface (48) to be illuminated by beams of light emitted from a second light source (52), and first and second variable resistors (60,62), or any equivalents thereof, through which the first and second light sources are electrically connected in parallel with each other to a common power source (58) so that the quantities of light to be respectively emitted from the first and second light sources can be varied independently of each other by adjusting the variable resistors. <IMAGE>
