Abstract

An electrical junction or switch box has attachment points 14, 16 by means of which mounting plates 18 can be secured in the box. The mounting plates have two sets of apertures 22, 24 at different spacings so that they can fit within smaller or larger boxes; the mounting plates also have duplicate mounting 28, 30 for a component so that when used in either a small or a larger box the spacing of one pair of the mountings will be the same. <IMAGE>
