Abstract

An article carrier comprises a frame structure F, a plurality of struts 16-27 depending downwardly from the frame structure F to form a plurality of article receiving cells, a bottom element 28-30 secured to the lower portions of the struts forming each cell, a partition element 31-35 disposed between and secured to two adjacent struts of at least some of said cells, the midportion of the partition element being yieldable, and a sleeve (S), Figures 3-5 (not shown), enveloping the carrier about the vertical axis thereof. Preferably, the carrier has a handle 15, the struts 16-27 each comprise a pair of strips A, B secured along adjacent edges C, and the sleeve (S) is shaped to wrap the tapering sides of the carrier, to which it is attached by the engagement or notches 36, 37 provided on the carrier in apertures (47-50) of the sleeve. <IMAGE>
