Abstract

A device for removing odorous material from a gas comprises a casing (1) having a gas inlet (2) and a gas outlet (7). An electrostatic cleaner (3) is positioned to received gas from the gas inlet, and a filter (5), e.g. comprising charcoal and Redox catalyst on foam is so positioned that gas from the electrostatic cleaner passes through it before it reaches the gas outlet. A fan (4) is positioned between the electrostatic cleaner (3) and the filter (5) for producing a gas flow from the gas inlet to the gas outlet. <IMAGE>
