Abstract

In making a lorry body or other container a rectangular frame 2 with sides 3 of L-shaped section is mounted on a support 1 and then a bottom panel 11 is disposed inside the frame which is approximately the same size as the panel. Rebated lower edges of side panels such as 13 are fitted between the upright part 4 of the L-shaped sections 3 and the panel 11. Adhesive is introduced at 19 into the spaces between the periphery of the bottom panel 11 and the rebates of the side panels. A top panel 28 is similarly attached to rebated upper edges of the side panels surrounded by a frame 7 which is similar to the frame 2 but upside down relative thereto. The support 1 is removed as may be the frames 2 and 7 also. Or the frames may be left in place and secured by screws to the panels to reinforce the top and bottom of the box. <IMAGE>
