Abstract

Rapid ripening dextrin glues comprise, as swelling agents, an amount effective to accelerate ripening of a product selected from the group comprising: starches extruded after having been, if necessary, modified chemically, starches, modified chemically, notably by cross-linking, in particular by adipic, phosphated or glycerol type cross-linking, and pregelatinized, carboxymethylated, alkylated or hydroxyalkylated starches and celluloses, and polyvinyl alcohols. The thus constituted dextrin glues have rapid ripening characteristics.
