Abstract

An intermediate sheet for recording material providing excellent printability comprising a paper support having a layer of microcapsules containing a colour former on one side thereof and a colour developer on the other side thereof, the weight of the paper support being 45 g/m<2> or less, the amount of the colour former in the microcapsules being 6% by weight or more, the average size of the microcapsules being 6 &cirf& 5 microns or less, and the colour developer being an organic acid or a salt thereof.
